Neo-Pagans: How did you get the concept of the abrahamic god out of your head so you could have your own ?

You most likely live where the Abrahamic god (christianity, judaism, islam) is spoken of so often that version of a god or the monotheism is so pounded into your brains so how did you get it out? Or is it always still there where you occasionally think of there being only one god and you have to correct your thinking?
